Please note that the Latin Mass for the summer months 2016 is Low Mass. On Sundays it is at 2:00pm. On First Fridays at 8:00am and the Solemnity of the Assumption at 8:00am.
The High Mass with the SGS Choir will resume on Sunday, September 18th.
St Anthony’s relic in Connecticut
A relic of St Anthony from his Shrine in Padua is visiting the Basilica of Saint John in Stamford on Tuesday, June 14. In addition to the various devotions offered that day, a Sung Mass in the Extraordinary Form will be celebrated at 10 in the morning.More information on the visit of this relic to St. John’s can be found on the church website: http://stjohnsstamford.com

Blessed feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus!
The men and women enrolled in the Saint Gregory Purgatorial Society and the benefactors of the Saint Gregory Society were especially remembered at the 8:00 a.m. Low Mass offered by Father Mauriello.
Let us pray.
O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure and wholly obedient to your will. Grant, Good Jesus, that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

There is no question for the moment to expatiate on lengthy explanations, nor on sermons, but rather to praise and give thanks. Focus your attention on the Lord Who has visited you. You have in you at the present time the Master of all masters. Listen to Him. Listen carefully to what He is going to tell you in the innermost depths of your being, in a mysterious, yet very effective way. He will not talk to your soul through outer words, but He will stamp directly onto your heart the teaching that you need.
