Remember Fr Fitzpatrick

Today is the 9th anniversary of death of Father Kevin Fitzpatrick. Many would remember that Father Fitzpatrick was one of the longtime chaplains to the Saint Gregory Society. He greatly inspired many to take up the work in living the TLM.

Please take a moment to offer a prayer for the peaceful repose of the soul of Father Fitzpatrick.

The Mass intention for Father will be offered at 2pm on July 30th.

In paradisum deducant te Angeli:
in tuo adventu suscipiant te Martyres,
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem.
Chorus Angelorum te suscipiat,
et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem.

Father’s Day Novena

To honor our fathers, living and deceased, the St Gregory Society will be having a novena of Masses beginning with the Sunday Mass on June 18th.
 
We are inviting you to send us the name of your father, living or deceased, with a donation of $10.00 per name.

God’s coming as a guest –Pentecost

St. Gregory the Great:

“‘And my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him’ (John 14:23). My friends, consider the greatness of this solemn feast that commemorates God’s coming as a guest into our hearts! If some wealthy, influential friend was coming to your house, you would quickly put everything in order for fear something there might offend your friend’s eyes when he entered. Let all of us then who are preparing our inner dwellings for God cleanse them of anything our wrongdoing has brought into them.”
